Dropbox has released a new experimental beta version of their official app for Android, version 2.2.2.8, and the changes in this update are mostly targeted at photo uploading and management. Users can now share multiple photos at once, organize photos into albums and also share these albums, and also delete multiple photos in one go.

There is another new feature that Dropbox is trying out with this new “experimental forum build” – users can now opt in for future early releases directly through the app, instead of having to download and manually install each new beta version.

The opt-in feature is on by default in each beta, but can also be toggled for those that want to turn it off. Other changes included in the update are said to be UI improvements and updates, as well as “lots of other little tweaks and bug fixes”.

You can download the new beta via the download link below or by scanning the QR code on your device. You will need to allow installation of apps from unknown sources in the device’s settings, as is usual for sideloading apps.
